About Us
Haven Salon Studios is owned and managed by Jason and Stacie Harkavy. We live nearby in West Long Branch, New Jersey. We’ve been married over 20 years and have two teenage daughters.
Stacie Harkavy
Stacie has been in the cosmetology profession as a hair stylist for 35 years. She has worked for several salons over the years and has worked countless weddings, proms, graduations and other special occasions.
Jason Harkavy
Jason has spent his career in finance and real estate. He worked for Merrill Lynch in New York City from 1991 to 2004. He managed a real estate finance fund from 2005 through 2020.
Teamwork
We feel so passionately that our different backgrounds fit together perfectly for opening world class salon suites facilities. Stacie has walked in the shoes of the studio owners that will be joining us and will be dedicated to being a resource and providing support to help your business thrive. And for those of you who would like a little extra help with the business and operations side – whether it’s accounting, spreadsheets, legal docs, technology, etc – Jason will be an ever-present resource. Importantly, we are local and focused on Haven and we will always be super accessible.

Partners Billy Portman and Antonio Garcia of Advantage Construction have been integral to Haven from the very beginning. They built our Salon suites from the ground up! With a strong background in serving the medical community, their team has built surgery centers, sleep centers, urology offices, and more. They’ve also renovated spaces for attorney practices, medical staffing offices, and educational consulting firms.
Billy Portman
Billy Portman, (Right) brings over 20 years of experience in commercial construction to the table. Having the GC as one of our partners is tremendously beneficial, as they care deeply about every detail and always look out for the well-being of our business. In his spare time he serves as the Mayor of Red Bank NJ.
Antonio Garcia
Antonio Garcia, (Left) Billy’s partner, has over 35 years of commercial construction experience. He serves as our managing GC and supervisor for every aspect of construction. It is comforting to know that Antonio can also roll up his sleeves and do almost any of the subcontractor jobs when needed. Antonio also handles all of our facilities management and can be seen at some point every day in each location.
